The Interior Cup is held annually in Penticton, BC on May long weekend.
May 16-18, 2025.
(All Playoff and championship games are played on Sunday Night, to accommodate teams for early travel on Monday)

Penticton, BC on the May Long Weekend, nothing more to say. Penticton is well known for partying (The home of Peach Fest). This tournament is a perfect combination of competitive ball hockey, great weather and it has amazing nightlife on the May long weekend.

DIVISION, ENTRY FEE AND PRIZE MONEY
A Division: Entry Fee $2000 ($200 goes towards prize money) ie; 10 teams = $ 2000 prize money
B Division: Entry Fee $2000 ($100 goes towards prize money) ie; 10 teams = $ 1000 prize money
C Division: Entry Fee $1800 ( Rec Division, no prize money )
D/E Divisions: Entry Fee $1800 ( Rec Division, no prize money )

LATE FEES
In the past, teams have expressed that they would like to know their schedule by the end of the first week of May. To do this we need all payments in full on time. Late fees will be added to teams that do not meet payment deadlines.
SCHEDULING
The schedule will be designed in early May and sent out to the team reps shortly after. This will provide ample time for teams to determine transportation needs.
All teams will play a Friday night game that may begin as early as 4 pm and end as late as midnight. PRIORITY OF GAME SCHEDULING goes to the teams that pay their entry fee in full first.
SCHEDULING PRIORITY
All teams will play on Friday night, scheduling priority will go to the teams that make full payment first. In the event two teams register on the same day, priority will go to the team that has been in the Interior Cup before or the longest-serving team.
OFFICIATING
We use top-level officials who are brought in from different locations in BC. Our officials have worked at provincial, regional, national, and world ball hockey championships. Officiating is of very high quality for this event.
SET UP & NUMBER OF GAMES
Guaranteed 3 games.
Friday: All teams play their first round-robin game.
Saturday: All teams play their 2 remaining round-robin games.
Sunday: Playoffs begin and are completed.
RULES
All rules follow CBHA guidelines. Tourney-specific rules are in regards to fighting and intent to injure - players eliminated from the tourney. 7 goal mercy rule is in effect. 3-0 forfeit rule (in case that one team does not show up). This is a CBHA-sanctioned event so major suspensions will be carried out into league play in which that player is involved.
